(13,871 posts)Seven were hard backed books. This would land most husbands in the dog house, but my wife was close to tears.
Nothing she loves better than a hard backed book.
Included were Anderson Coopers book on the Vanderbilt dynasty, Katie Courics autobiography, and Grishams latest.

(1,670 posts)The first European literature comes from Iceland (the Sagas.) It's possible that they needed something to do in winter.
Reykjavik had 6:49 of daylight, by comparison Anchorage had 7:34. That roughly 49 minutes may not seem like much, but you would be shocked.
