Certainty

I dont feel fear over uncertainty anymore.

I had to accept I have no control over what happens ot me or in this world. Accept it to my very bones.

I can try to do what I can to make things better, but I know its uncertainy and it might not work. But I try to make it better because I want to and I care.

Uncertainty loses its fearful steam when you accept it as it is as reality.

Because you can live in fear of uncertainty and be an authoritarian piece of shit ...Or you can go through the fear and accept how reality really is

Death will come for me and all the beings on this planet eventually and I have no control over when, where, how and what circumstances.

I see death like an adventure. I will finally know what the big mystery is,personally.

However, I also feel that there's a lot we can do to make sure we minimize the effects
of uncertainty. For instance, I follow safety procedures when operating my car. I make sure all my vehicle's systems are operating properly and use the lap/shoulder belts. I am
a responsible and alert driver and in my 72 years of life have never had a road
accident.

But to support your original post here, when flying commercially I always buy flight
insurance before I board. That's because of the uncertainty and accepting that I'm not
in control of this and in event of disaster my family can at least benefit.

Thanks for making me think about this.
