I don't normally post much personal stuff, sticking to news articles and some morning humor but
My Best and Dearest Friend has covid despite being vaxxed and boosted.
Positive test this AM and heading to the hospital as the folks at Urgent Care didn't like the sound of her heart.
Likely got it from an unvaccinated co-worker. Good God I loathe these people with every inch of my soul.............

I hope she recovers quickly without lasting issues. I wasn't looking forward to retirement much, but I am glad to be out of the workforce during this mess.

I sincerely hope she doesn't need to be admitted to the hospital, she'll be able to go home, and is feeling herself within a short period.
