I don't buy it: The little pocket on jeans inside regular pocket

Wouldn't the "reason" for the little pocket have gone moot whenever the faux ripped jeans became a thing?!

But then, they didn't stop the little pockets when the previous "reason" (pocket watches?) stopped!

I believe it vents to the inside. The window has multiple panes, and the outer one is solid. Also, planes leak a little, so they’re continually repressurized during flight.

called it a "jimmy pocket" and presumed it was used for whatever you could fit into it. My mom used to tell us to always carry a dime (quarter?) to call home if need to.

Like they did away with thick insoles and stiffeners, shirt pockets and plackets, cotton content, thick socks, thick vinyl. After awhile you realize you're paying for nothing.
