4. I love them, too.

The most common kind of bat where I live is the little brown bat. They're not quite as cute as the bat in the o.p., but they perform a valuable service by eating about a third of their weight in insects every night, including lots of mosquitoes. Anything that eats mosquitoes is definitely a friend of mine!

5. I went spelunking once

with a couple of beautiful ladies But during the course of our cave investigation, a bat flew under my jacket! All I could think of was., RABIES! I was able to get it out of my jacket, but it scared the crap out of me!
