For those of you that have had their covid booster, did it make you ill afterwards?

Had my booster Tuesday, yesterday I had serious chills alternating with hot flashes. Today much the same early, chills/hot flashes stoped early afternoon.

Even though I had the booster shot (moderna) with flu and tetanus shots at the the same time.

I had mild symptoms after the second moderna shot, which was 4 months before the booster, but otherwise nothing.

The chills are horrible. Just the same as I got when I had the Delta variant.

The antibody treatment did the same again.

Then I had to wait 90 days until after the antibody treatment to get the booster. When I did, I had a couple of days of chills followed by hot flashes.

I hope I never get them again!

I don't think it has anything to do with the shots or Covid itself. And nothing in the first few days after the shot, the bedtime and cold symptoms began 10 days after my booster.

Had no reaction to the regular vax (one dose of J&J).

…after the shots in Jan and Feb 2021. Moderna.

Fever of almost 102, very tired, generalized achiness, and CHILLS that felt like my team must be 104. The chills were the worst. . Also, with the second shot, a very large reddened and warm area at the induction site - about 5x7 inches, and itchy. Back to normal in about 48 hours.

Similar but milder symptoms after the booster, and about 24 hours duration.

I didn’t take any Tylenol or ibuprofen after any of the shots. I just let my immune system do its work.

I would immunize monthly if that were the advice from the experts.

Honestly, I can't remember. It must not have been bad. The second shot on the other was a battle royal going on.

Seems to be too many variables of reactions to make predictions.

The day after that (3rd day actual), I was not well, but well enough to roll out of bed and shuffle 3 feet over to where my desk is and get some work done. (You’re welcome, Iggo’s Employer.)

My results were definitely more toward the extreme end of the severe scale than most, but there you have it.
