Holding Back the inner Groucho

I have always been a huge admirer of Groucho Marx. That said, the other day I was purchasing some ice cream at a shop where you choose the flavor and they pack it for you. At that time they told me they were out of Pint size containers and would use a quart size and fill it up half-way. I said fine.

At the cash register I asked, in a serious voice, whether they were charging me for the custom ice cream shop "air" that filled the half filled quart container (I have no eyebrows to waggle). They were shocked, I started laughing, and they did as well.

Upon departure I realized, perhaps, someone might have been a "Ken" to them about this in the past. I hope not.

Whatever the case may be, MAGA Kens or Karens will not steal my inner Groucho. Won't happen.
