I checked and got back in with my new password.
If there anything else I should do? Am I still vulnerable?

Facebook is a cesspool.

Facebook has changed, it was harder to delete my account than create it.
It's very tricky of Facebook. Kind of like the mob. Once you're in you can't get out!
Actually, I never post on Facebook. I react to things friends post but that's it. It's too much of a trashy and dangerous rabbit hole.
My opinion, of course. It just strikes me as a waste of time. Same for Twitter.

I've read that everyone in contacg list is fair game in FB.
Not sure as I've never used it.
You might want to research this & alert your close contacts.

log out anyone who isnt you, THEN change your password.
