The night n day difference in humans caring for these puppies is striking...some are cruel n others have more room in their hearts.

They were born in a puppy mill that was shut down and sent to a shelter that was shut down 6 months later for abuse. They were both in VERY bad shape. 3rd time is the charm and they were sent to a wonderful rescue group together. Due to the severity of his injuries and having special needs Ares spent 2 years as a foster in the home of the couple who adopted his brother. They live about 60 miles away and a few times a year we meet in a park 1/2 way for the brothers to play. It's fun for everyone, but heatbreaking when its time to go home. We have both made a pact that if the other family should, for any reason need to surrender one, the other family will take him.
