2. I was once in Senyang in the wintertime and it was snowy and cold. People were

celebrating while I was slogging down the street to change some travelers checks for
local cash. I passed a street of shop stalls that were screened in on only 3 sides and
I decided that these people were not to be trifled with. Those were interesting times.
