As if life isnt difficult enough, another thing happened today that has set me off.
Bought some new socks the other day, got around to washing them this afternoon. It was a package of three pairs. After getting them mated up I noticed some had an L on them, others had an R. WTF is going on!!
I studied the problem for an hour or so, and realized the L R split was 50/50, a clue 🕵️?♀️.
Of course I went to the Internet for some research 🔬. After many exhaustive hours, the search parameter deep state L R sock conspiracy finally paid off. The frickkin things are supposedly unidirectional, one for the left foot, one for the right!!
To hell with that noise! Im not a damned sheep 🐑. I am directionally challenged as it is. I was five years old before I managed to get the right shoe on the right foot 🦶. My drivers Ed teacher put an L and R on the back of my hands with a permanent black marker, following a near miss where she told me to take a right and I made a left in front of an oncoming semi. That was a close call, but I digress.
Defiant me put two Ls on and went about my day, or at least tried to. I found myself walking in circles, and got blisters on my right foot. So now I have two dirty and one clean Ls, and three clean Rs. So after one day with three clean pairs only one pair was still usable.
In case you folks are thinking this is all made up, I have photos to prove it.
Those bastards at Nike will not think this is funny when they hear from my lawyer. Im calling him tomorrow. Thats confusing, Ill call him by his real name Jake, but will make the call 📞 first thing Monday morning.
Thanks for letting me rant, just had to get this off my chest.

(759 posts)By buying expensive things on the Internet, to be paid for with the lawsuit proceeds. Found a nice round the world cruise 🚢, its going to set Nike back over $350,000 for the two of us.

(12,462 posts)I have it bad, I have two tattoos on my hands .
One is an inverse pentagram for left hand path.
On my right hand is the alchemical symbol of black mercuric sulphide or brimstone for right hand path.
Never again will I be confused by left or right unless I'm turning a screw I dont know where the end is.
I do the lefty loosey righty tighty but my directional hands don't correspond to screwing screws out or in. So I turn it until the lines add up or decrease and continue turning it in or out. Sometimes I have to turn until it tightens or loosens.. but some screws take forever to feel a difference.
I do the best that I can.
Sometimes I am glad I cant drive,lol.
