Fun little trick in the Sunday New York Times crossword yesterday: the central theme clue was "The better of two sci-fi franchises", and regardless of whether you put Star Wars or Star Trek, the crossing clues worked

That one is a mild example, but there are others where you're expected to cram in three letters into a single square, and only one letter works for the connecting word, and they don't have it very well programmed for doing it online.

The only correct answer to 71 down is, ‘It’s a trap!’ The other option, ‘It’s a wrap!’ is always said thusly: ‘THAT’S a wrap!’ Therefore, the rest of the words must conform to the only option, rendering Star Wars the correct answer.

Of all the times I’ve heard that line, it only sounds right as ‘that’s a wrap!’
