I was out for a walk and saw what looked like a credit card facedown on the sidewalk. Picked it up, of course, and was surprised to see that it was a national identification card for a therapy dog. Owner's name (a woman) and dog's name on it. A Maltese.
I Googled the owner's name, and a very nearby address popped up, along with a landline phone #, which turned out to be disconnected. I drove over to the address, ad heard a small dog barking when I knocked. Fortunately, the woman was home and came to the door. She hadn't realized the card was missing, and was pleased that I tracked her down.

I was swimming laps and I saw a small moth drowning. I scooped him up and took him out of the water. The next time I went by him he was still standing there but the time after that, he was gone and had flown away. Later I saw a moth that looked like him flying up in front of a tree nearby. I like to think that was him.
Later I saw a bee in the water. I put him on the side of the pool. He stayed there for quite a while but when I left, he wasnt there anymore so Im hoping he flew away. Those are my two very tiny good things today.

Flies, mosquitos, and stinging insects get no such mercy. I'm terrified of bees.
