If only we could nationalize and recognize this space effort by so many, and detach it from the Narcissistic great man mindset of ultra-wealthy megalomaniacs like Musk.

were picked up by SpaceX and other companies at the end of the space shuttle era. Musk's successes are hardly his own doing.
