if handling wildlife. Rabbits are no different. Call animal control, they can save the animal without endangering themselves....
This person had the best of intentions, but not wearing heavy gloves, at the least, was foolish......

a summer or two ago, a colorado woman died from Tularemia and she didn't even touch the infected rabbit...........
