As a union truck driver boog and man are gonna shutdown Pizza Hut today

Like the vaccine trucking knuckle heads. Ok I don’t run line haul anymore I just jockey and we don’t have a tractor to honk our horn. Ok anyway we’re shutting down Pizza Hut our demands are bring back trans fats and free bread sticks.

Schedule strike starts at 11:00 am

11:05 we place our Pizza Hut lunch order by phone
Then we wait on delivery guy and tip him
12- 12:30 is lunch
And then we continue protest from the couch.
Next weekend we do Taco Bell’s in demand that they bring back taco pizza.

7. Makes sense to me,

I was lucky in that the wife went onto SSDI a couple of years before I retired, so she was already covered before they ushered me out the door in favor of the kid who was a friend of the department manager. That worked out great for them with an inexperienced Receiver right before Christmas, but okay by me as I was home collecting SS and my Union Pension.

this place down from 4:00 to 8 p.m. today while I fire up the grill cooking hamburgers and ribeyes and watch the game.
Every good strike has to have good bbq.
I walked the line during the big GM strike at Arlington Tx plant in solidarity with the UAW in 2019 we had food galore as those UAW brothers and sisters were so gracious and cooked for everybody.
We wore our Teamster Safety vest of course.

8. We didn't have some much BBQ on the picket line as we did donuts and burgers

but, then I was walking the early morning shifts when I was out for about a month. Nevertheless we ate pretty well.
