6. I think Eldad Hagar (Hope for Paws) has some sort of magic touch,

especially with mamas and babies--they just seem to know that he's there to rescue them. Plus, cheeseburgers can work miracles when rescuing starving pups. (Full disclosure: I donate monthly to their "Cheeseburger Fund." ) He's saved thousands of dogs, cats, and other assorted creatures. He's a legend. This was no set-up for the cameras if that's what you're worried about.

concerned about a set up. It just seemed like the mama was unusually calm while her babies were picked up. I would not have had the courage to try doing it.
