We have a streaming/DVD group here at DU. It's quite active. It would be great to find threads like yours there. 
Highly, highly recommend Midnight Mass on Netflix. I'm not currently streaming it because I've probably watched it 4 or more times now. It's horror, but so much more. Any attempt to describe it would either give you spoilers or mislead you about what it's about. I will say it's by the same producer who did Haunting of Hill House and Haunting of Bly Manor. You have never seen horror like Midnight Mass.
Also on Netflix - Penguin Town. Absolutely delightful. If you like penguins, you really should try it.
