Maybe store some extra somehow. mysteryowl Feb 2022 #10
I don't believe in that. It is an unecessary risk to store gasoline. JohnSJ Feb 2022 #12

$3.05 for BP. Shell near me was $3.34 before the madman attacked his peaceful neighbor. Not sure what it is today.

Not much immediately near me. Likely cheaper to just suck it up than drive 25 mi round trip for a bit better price. 😓

There is a BP that is a few cents cheaper, but it seems they aerate their gas. Mileage on a tank is much less. (I'm getting avg 48 mpg on my old civic. 😉

What for and what does it do? It can't be good.

Driving 25 miles could eat up any savings.

This is not new. Bp & Osco (Chicago) were doing this decades ago.

And, if you have a new car under warranty, it's best to use top tier because not doing so can be cause for warranty denial if related to any malfunction.

Gas is not all created equally.

In my extensive travels I'd fill up my little Toyota with a mix of contaminated butane, toluene, benzene, and any other flammable toxic wastes the refineries couldn't otherwise dispose of.

The smell of some of the concoctions was nothing like gasoline.

Apparently, judging by these prices, it's still like that in some parts of the U.S.A..
