(17,285 posts)Lived a few years in China. Thought it cant be as stinky as Ive heard. Bought one. Cut it and it was nearly unbearable to me. Had to take the trash out of the apartment it was so strong. Like some strong flavors or aromas if youve experienced it since childhood no big deal, if not its just too much. Couldnt manage vegamin in Australia. On the other hand I never had Indian food as a child, yet loved the strong, savory flavors as an adult.

(38,311 posts)I've known a few dogs who figured out all by themselves how to make me laugh.
Our husky is quite certain he's fluent in human language. And he is too, for anything he cares about. There's never any question about what he wants or doesn't want. He'll tell you.

Anthony Bourdain once said that after eating durian, Your breath will smell as if you'd been French-kissing your dead grandmother.
I loved Bourdain!
