I found a valid credit card, a debit card, a BCBS insurance card, and a Walmart

associate card lying in the middle of the street this afternoon. All with the same person's name. I called the local Walmart's security and they said to contact police. An officer came and picked them up in about 2 hours. He said it was common for someone breaking into a car or stealing a wallet to just take the cash and toss the rest. I was surprised to just find the cards and not an empty wallet.

it was stolen. So they don't always through away credit cards.
I think mine was stolen by a gang of professional thieves.
They actually went to a neighboring state with some of the purchases.

I returned this wallet to the store near which I found it. Men often carry their wallets in their pockets and lose them. When my own wallet was stolen, I had no such luck. They put a lot of charges on my credit card.
