At a smallish town near the coast, it's 9pm ... McD's or BurgerKing. Which one? The one with the shorter line at the drive thru. Some fine dining that night.

and put in a Hardee’s. I was doing work at the campus radio station in the union that summer, and at at Hardee’s at least twice a day for weeks. That was 45 years ago. I’ve been to a Hardee’s exactly once since then.

If that’s the choice, then BK for sure.

I am taking my wife to the Canoe House--along with two dughters, their partners and three grandchildren (you're only young once, right?).

We only do this on special occasions, too, you understand. Most times, 12,000 miles is farther than we usually go for a meal....

we went to a seafood restaurant and had a relaxing dinner. No McDs/BK/Hardees or Po Folks.

It's funny but we got married at 19 and 18. and our folks thought "well this will last about a week".

SURPRISE/SURPRISE/SURPRISE

We are the only pair in my family that didn't divorce, There were times it got close but we didn't.
It must have pissed everyone else off cause they never acknowledged the milestone anniversary with a card or a call.

"Say levee, say the old folks, Goes to show you never can tell"
