The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsMy day at EAA AirVenture... Now with pictures!
I got to meet and shake the hand of one of the Tuskegee Airmen.
I got to crawl around a B-17.
I got to sit in the cockpit of a Ju-52. (A REAL German Ju-52, not the Spanish CASA knockoff.)
I saw a B-29 in flight.
I took a lot of pictures (may post them later).
I had a lot of fun!

Many years ago I went to the World Soaring Championships in Hobbs, New Mexico. My ex flew single engines and tow planes for gliders.
that was in 1984. My Uncle Oren went to the Fly In that year and sent me a postcard!!

(6,279 posts)Nice pictures... I noticed that the menu with "Freedom Fries" also lists "French toast." I suppose you could have made a point of ordering that
Also... I think you meant to label the 94th picture in the album "Spitfire replica" rather than "Mustang replica"
