My pain mgmt specialist (who I think is awesome) once said I looked great and I smiled, but replied, "That's the thing. You know people get uncomfortable hearing your problems, so you learn to be a very good actor."
He, having seen countless patients in incurable pain, just kind of understandingly said, "Yeah." What else to say, eh?
