Radar Love (Happy birthday to Golden Earring founder George Kooymans!)

This song should wake you up...and maybe push you over the speed limit if you're driving. I once saw a YouTube comment about a cop not writing a speeding ticket when the driver explained he'd been listening to "Radar Love" but I'm not sure that perfectly reasonable explanation will work every time.

The music video below is from 1973. And there's a longer OP with more videos in Music Appreciation - https://democraticunderground.com/103471740 .

a similar event with 2,000 drummers, and there's a nearly hour-long video of that in one of the replies in the MA thread I linked to in the OP.

Cruise control would be on.
So, I guess nothing.
But, if I didn't have cruise, who knows?

My job was to sit in a weigh booth in a quarry, and weigh dump trucks loaded with gravel, on their way to dump their loads on rural roads in the county.

When they got to the quarry in the morning to load up it was busy, but most of the day it was waiting for them to return, listening to the radio and reading a book. Radar Love was in hot rotation on the stations I listened to. That song, and Rock and Roll Heaven by the Righteous Brothers were the sound track of that summer for me.
