(150,887 posts)It has been over 50 years since I read Melville's novella. And, yet, that single line is unforgettable, isn't it?
As for the software, I have never seen it in operation. As a writer for decades, I never saw a need for anything other than a typewriter or word processor to use for writing of any kind. Perhaps the software is useful, but I don't know.
There are many clever things out there that seem useful, but are not.
For some reason, I was thinking of both Melville and software today. Go figure.
I commend you on your quick response, though. I almost never post in the DU Lounge.
