FedUp with FedEx
Anyone know what's with FedEx in Memphis?
I've had a FedEx express delivery package stuck in Memphis for 10 days now, with still no scheduled delivery date (original scheduled delivery date was last Monday). ![]() The customer service people know nothing - is there a strike or a Covid outbreak or something else going on there??

1. I've had several FedEx shipments lately that get stuck in one location
for several days and customer service is a joke.

2. We have issues with a lot of deliveries coming from the east.
Fed Ex, UPS, USPS, if it's coming from the east it takes longer. Sometimes a lot longer. We're near Denver.

6. My guess is it's due to railroad congestion...
The railroads' service is the worst I've seen in 30 years. FedEx and UPS use rail lots.

7. Even for "express" delivery?
I though it was all by air.

11. They wouldn't use rail on the express...
You’re correct…they use air for that.

8. I know the feeling.
A few months ago I ordered something thru Amazon (3rd party seller), it shipped FedEx from Nevada. Got to the region just fine then "out for delivery." For 2 weeks it was "out for delivery." I ended up cancelling and requesting a refund. The day after the refund was credited it showed up (I shipped it back)
