Gas back under $4 a gallon in my area...

...not a *lot* under--$3.99--but under. Down 28 cents overnight. I assume this is because of Biden's opening of the Reserve. In any event, if gas goes down, it will ease inflation fears at least a little among the public at large, whatever the actual economic issues...

I do notice I haven't encountered as many aggressive drivers. Most people proceed at a measured pace around the speed limit. I think they know what really burns gas, and that is haulin' A for all you're worth, accelerating uphill, passing everyone in sight. You really can tweak a little more mileage from a tank.

I have managed to buy it for $3.93, $3.86 and today when I don't need it, for $3.73.
There's still a lot of price gougers everywhere.

I'm ambivalent. High gas prices are good for the environment.
