We got our documents to our accountant in late Feb and still can't get everything done in time. SMH!

I don't mind.
Several years ago taxes done and timely filed, but we owed. $$ was available in back account that they had record of. Rejected 3 X on a row. AGI wrong. Put in zero. Wrong. Put in AGI that I knew was correct. Wrong. Needed to be fixed in not even a week. I gave up. Husband died end of March and I just didn't care anymore. Got penalized $586
late filing fee, interest and actually 2 of the same underpayment penalty fees. Conversation saying pay and then do an abatement. Next letter saying sorry no can do. It was my responsibility as a tax payer to have not let it go to that. I eventually ordered a transcript to see what the correct AGI was, and it was the one we had all along!
