I filed my Income Tax electronically on 4/5. I just got my mail and there was the refund check. I never filed electronically before. Guess it's the way to go. I just heard on NBC evening news last night there's a big back log and some people are still waiting for their last year's refund.

I never expected to get the check this quick.

5. My accountant electronically files my return,

and I have direct deposit for refund. Got the state one about four days later, the federal just over a week after filing.

7. Yes it is. Not a lot , but better than having to write a check.

I’ve always had a larger % of taxes due taken from my paychecks. Would rather pay as I go and get a refund check in April, than have to write a big check in April.
