to have been born and bred to be a slave animal beast of burden must have been a horrendous life. Especially if that slave was owned by a d.trump-type narcissistic sociopath. And the legacy of that hate still lives in millions of American black and white. To want to hide that history is to invite that type of history to return. This is what the fascist racist RW endeavours to create...again. 21st-century style of course, but slavery nonetheless. America truly disgusts me sometimes. Yet are still working on it to create a "more perfect union". Right?

1. If you compare the infant republic to the current republic, strides have been made. But, the

unenlightened will always be with us, just being their normal selfish, toddler selves.

toward a more equal society since human beings were forced to walk around in chains. That's a given yet the slow march of fascist, racist white supremacy nationalists has been unimpeded since, in my time, Nixon/Atwater. That racism culminated in 2016 with a known sexual predator/racist/fascist con man grifter gaining the highest office in this nation. By hook or crook, I don't care. That POS ended up stinking the hallowed halls of the WH for 4 long years of national and international incompetence that at last count has killed over 900,000 in this country alone

And now our streets again are filled with guns, guns, guns more readily used, since the heydays of Al Capone or maybe even the days of gunslingers I imagine. African-Americans committing on each other self-hate and violence. White police officers shoot first before asking about the alleged crime, unarmed African-Americans are usually the victim. A Supreme Court is ready and waiting to take women's bodies and turn them into chattel and the property of men, again. Open white racism rivalling what I experienced in the deep south in the 50s. And on and on. Yes seems one step forward and two back sometimes in the strides.

3. Selfishness, ego, fears, self-preservation will always be with us because they are byproducts of the

human brain's purpose of self-preservation. But Mind is paranormal, more than brain activity. Out of body experiences. Verifiable information that a Mind has survived a previous existence/death. Remote viewing. So, Mind must be influenced by at least one other source of activity that extends beyond the brain, including death.

That is not to say that everyone has a Mind equally balanced in its influencing agents. Love of guns, violence comes from the brain since those are self-preservation related. Fear of other races or other races benefiting more than one's own race...the self concerned brain again. Cancelling social security, medicare, food assistance are all fine to the Mind satisfied that its human is okay... brain again. In these people, their Minds are controlled by the brain impulses and the paranormal source is too minimal to exert influence.

But such people could be influenced by their society to some extent. Unfortunately, modern news and social media allow the creation of societies within our culture which appeal to Mind's brain level values.
That's our greatest challenge to cultural improvement and churches aren't doing the job.
