The good news is

I now have the money to pay for the registration on my car. ($288) Registration is rather expensive in California.

The bad news is my wife had to go to the casino to win the money.

for some of the politicians you have to put up with.

2. Didn't they take the size of your car into consideration, Mr. Bill?

4. LOL.

Actually, that's a Corvette. I can only imagine what they pay. I'm glad my Corvette days are behind me. I now drive a Nissan Sentra. It's a nice car and only one year old, but it's on the low end of registration charges.

Funny thing is, when she left to go to the casino, I told her to see if she could win enough to pay for the registration. We both laughed. She did that plus another $150 or so.

7. I'm an old Vette driver... Chevette

It just depends on how you describe your lifestyle.

8. I will admit to being a bit of a gear head in my younger days.

At my age, almost 69, I have no business being in a car that can go 180 mph anymore. Nor do I have the budget for it after retiring.

6. That's pretty cheap. My year old Hyundai Kona is going to cost me $309.

Of course, the 1998 Saturn will be $35, so there’s that.
