Tina Turner - The Best & Proud Mary (live, 2009)

Just months before her 70th birthday, rocking the GelreDome arena in Arnhem, Netherlands.

She'd already done eighteen (18) songs that night, according to Setlist.fm. These songs closed the set, and she still came back for a two-song encore.

But I did run across this, from 2020, which I got a kick out of:

Robert Yarnall (W and Giuliani) wrote most of it. It was an independent off-Broadway production that we closed down when Obama won.

I hope people don't think I post music indiscriminately, either, whether here in the Lounge or in the Music Appreciation group.

But I like a lot of different types of music, so I don't expect everyone to agree with my taste (even though IMHO it's excellent, lol).

More seriously, I was really happy to run across these videos from that concert at the GelreDome. Especially when I discovered from the setlist posted at Setlist.fm that Tina had already rocked her way through 18 songs before getting to these.

She's a force of nature, and we've been blessed to have so much great music from her over many years.
