2 tomato plants, 2 eggplant plants, and a pack of okra seeds. If I can get a couple zucchini plants, I'll be all set.

Didn't have a garden for several years and the zucchinis didn't do that well the last few years we tried, and then we couldn't get plants. I put these plants in a different place this year, better sun, maybe fewer bugs.

(23,246 posts)The first time, I was really happy with how much I got. But the next time, it didn't do very well. Our old garden spot got shadier and shadier, might have affected the growth of sun-lovong plants.

(23,246 posts)I took my time getting the area ready, doing the work, putting things away. It was a nice day to be outside, good breeze coming from the river. Even if I'm not close to the water, seems like the breeze is always pleasant
