There are 3 reasons I got this in 3. The first is that after watching Julia on HBO I started watching the original The French Chef series on PBS Living and had BROTH on my mind. The second is that I so wanted to use NORTH as my second word but already had the R in the right place.
I got FROTH only because I couldn't think of anything else that would work.

19. I learned a cool trick about doing these.

When you get any yellow or green letters, I always try to use them all in the next guess. And always use the greens in the right place each time. Otherwise I think I am wasting a guess. It isn’t always possible, but I try when I can.

26. Tough call! Sometimes that works wonderfully and sometimes you get caught in a rhyme trap.

If I can think of three or more words that might work, I'll usually spend one guess trying a word with letters that rule out or identify as many possible solutions as possible, even though I know the word I'm trying isn't a possible solution. But that's the fun of Wordle: we all have our different strategies.
