I'd meant to post something special for my 30,000th post, but got caught up in whatever we were discussing then and went right past it without noticing. Will probably do the same at 40,000. But for some reason this number got my attention. Silly as it is.

I remember newyawker99's Milestone posts from back in the day and how exciting it was to be named - it was a huge deal to finally reach 1000! I'm awfully glad that EarlG has renewed the tradition and it's terrific to see long timers credited. So keep it up and I'll be looking for your 40,000th!
