😁Speed Bump Olympics channel description describes its content as Videos of speedbumps and the people who fail to heed them being there. Speed limit 25, 10mph warning before the bumps with signage on the street as well as poles. The one-month-old channel already has 1.3 million views of its videos of careless drivers bouncing over the bumps and testing the limits of their suspension.
If the channel description is accurate regarding the signage, its a little absurd that this keeps happening. Interestingly, per a Carscoops article, the owner of the YouTube channel, who films from his front window, says he hasnt seen a collision in the 11 years hes lived across from the speed bumps.

Ferrets are Cool
(22,602 posts)1. This issue I have with them in my city is that they are poorly marked.
Many times they are the same color as the asphalt AND the signs are not very visible. I wish it was mandatory that they be brightly colored.

(6,493 posts)4. Poorly marked, difficult to see at night or in rain
All too often the markings are inadequate, maybe a sign hidden behind parked vehicles, with possibly faded, non-reflective markings on the street. Couple that with poorly designed bumps that are killers at half the posted speed limit or so tall they scrape at any speed.

... in my small town, when a black muscle car with too loud music ignored the warning. They dived fully down on the speedbump, and their car made some very interesting sounds humping away from there.
