Covid

Despite my best efforts to avoid it with double masking, distancing and everything else, I got Covid late last week. Fortunately, it was a mild case, my doctors said, though I was in the hospital for a day and a half. I'm feeling better, but still a little tired and will probably be this way until next week. My point is not to ask for pity, but to let those around you this disease is not to be messed with. It may get you no matter how hard you try to avoid it. Stopping masking and distancing is not a good idea right now. The doctors let me know I was smart to get all the shots and boosters. It probably saved my life (I'm 70). So take all the precautions, folks. We ain't over this sucker yet.

Had some symptoms a couple weeks ago, took a test and there it was. I got the antiviral drugs right away and they probably kept it from being worse, but still had the worlds worst sore throat for about 4 days until it all slowly tapered off.

I’m 65 and I can’t imagine how bad this would have been without the vax, boosters and antivirals.

But yeah, mask up. This thing isn’t done with us yet.
