As parents have more children they learn from experience. I am a second child and my parents were a lot easier on me and I learned by watching my older sister to not make the same mistakes. ( sadly)

But what you need to know is I was the third child. Her previous experience with having children involved my two brothers, who were twins. I'm sure one is easier to handle than two.

I'm the youngest and I was a mess, so I guess my parents either never learned or retrograded.
