(43,124 posts)The idea was bland, plain packaging, paper sack, window, with wire cloture. Two color, black on white. No graphics. But they also put the bland in the cookies. They were awful. If you had a bag today I doubt they'd be soggy, but they'd still be no good.
Is my typing so bad that I put the wrong letters in and have to correct all the time. Sometimes I think auto-correct runs my keyboard.

Here is the only reference I can find to it right now ... on eBay. I bet an original bag would fetch $20 today.

(219 posts)You were spared. One of my classmates had a cheapskate dad who insisted that the little woman buy only the black and white generic crap. The classmate all but lived with a neighbor family, just to get a decent meal. Last I heard, the little woman ran off with a girlfriend to Dallas, and the five kids didnt speak to him from the time they left home to the day he died.
It didnt surprise me. I avoided that dad like the plague because he was just plain mean, in every way. Texas mean, and thats some bad mean.
