(113,201 posts)1. Good heavens... Hands down 100% Baryshnikov. Zero question.
The first performer is athletic and graceful, but one never forgets how gravity-bound he is and he seems to need pre-thought for each move.
Baryshnikov seems at times to defy gravity. His movements are effortless and seemingly instinctive. Baryshnikov was a once in a generation--maybe lifetime performer. No male performer I have seen has come close.

The music is turned into physical movement. Hes the medium through which that happens.
