They harvested their webs, similar to the way silk is harvested from silk worms. Someone needs to tell the Guardian that only mammals produce milk. That being said, that's got to be a hell of a sticky robe. Golden Orb spider webs are tacky like rubber cement. Otherwise, the robe is nice. The tassels, not so much. Gorgeous color! I'm used to seeing the webs with debris in them, making it hard to appreciate that lovely shade of yellow.
