Thought the gardening was mostly done.
Then these little purple flowers showed up!
Prunella Vulgaris. A very medicinal herb, we harvest the flower buds with petals or not and the first set of leaves making sure to leave enough to reseed for next year.

Little health information… we air dry our buds and use them to make a hot tea that along with other medicinals to have a lmmun-a-tea. Been keeping the flu away for years.
So look around try to find prunella just make sure it’s not by polluted waters or roadways and heavily treated lawns.
