When you were 5 it seemed that Christmas took forever because that was 1/5 (20 % of your life) but as you got
older it was 1/30 of your life or 1/60 of your life. Time seems to speed up as we get older. Although it is the same
length of time it is just your perspective that has changed but you can still enjoy the fireflies flashing, the late twilight,
and the good things in life.

... who was 73 at the time (the age I am now) saying that the time between one Christmas and another seemed like a matter of three or so months, rather than an entire year.

It seemed such an odd thing to say - and yet here I am, understanding exactly what he meant.
