First reports on quake, have 950 killed.

If a fully loaded 707 jet plane crashed, you would have maybe 300 people killed.

And b/c of the Taliban, international funding has been severely reduced, if not stopped.

2. Those immediately killed may be the "more fortunate"... Imagine waiting for help that is never

coming as they lie buried under rubble--at least in time to save them. International help would be pouring in and still could, if not for the Taliban.
