35. Saltines!! Crushed in buttermilk; a classic Southern snack

I love it especially if I get the munchies at bedtime. I feel a bit sorry for those who have not discovered the wonders of buttermilk!

Cornbread works too but this discussion is about crackers.

I also love Saltines with peanut butter, or cheese, or spread with a little butter and toasted in the oven, or with soup or chili.

The all purpose cracker- goes with everything.

It’s called ‘crisp bread,’ but it’s a cracker IMO. I get them at ALDI, and I hope they aren’t gone soon. They’re incredibly crisp and loaded with a variety of seeds. I just finished that very package with some smoked Gouda.

They did taste a little better, but we just did it because we were little assholes.

They're crispy and since they're sort-of bland, everything goes with them.

I love them for caviar, cheeses and some dips.

If I want something more robust, I usually go for potato chips of some sort.

Ritz are the ones I get the most (not that I have them that often. Or Trader's Golden Rounds equivalents.

I really like some of the savory triscuts, too.
