(24,906 posts)and moved to a senior mobile home park. It saves a lot of money at Costco when you live in 800 square feet because you just don't have room to store large quantities of many things. Keeps me away from garage sales, too.
I do have an extra freezer in my shed, so we still bulk buy some meats and other foods.
Our nearest Costco is almost 50 miles away, and with the price of gas now we really think twice before making a trip there.
