I was wearing a bright red shirt and was immediately swarmed by birds upon entering the enclosure. A loud woman was in there already, trying in vain to interact with any of the birds. Continuing to prattle, she walked my way, complaining that I didnt need all those birds all to myself. She actually reached out to snatch a lorikeet off my shoulder. The bird didnt appreciate being grabbed rudely, however, and bit her thumb without hesitation. She let out a blood-curdling scream and promptly ceased her grabby behavior. It didnt stop her from running her mouth about me hogging all the birds, however.
