Gas prices hit 3.95 today but groceries seem to

have made up the difference. Being single I buy a lot of frozen dinners they have doubled. Steaks at $14 a pound!

groceries that have already been transported by shippers that paid the previous weeks' higher fuel costs.

OK, so that included a two pound bag of coffee beans from my local roaster - Morning Mud. Yum.

But no wine and only one package of ground beef for tacos in that cart.

A grocery trip easily cost me $250 and that was ten years or so ago. I can’t imagine what that would translate to today.

with a “designer’s discount.” I understand building materials have gone up 26% in the past 18 months due to supply chain disruption and other factors.

When we painted our house last fall, the painter bought the paint several months in advance so he would have it when it was time to do our project.
