Have You Seen the "Wakanda Forever" Trailer?

It's coming out in November. The trailer makes no sense to me, but I know I'm going to see it. I have high hopes.

I will miss Chadwick Boseman. For those of you who don't know, he died of cancer and there will be a new Black Panther.

without Chadwick Boseman. It makes me sad every time I think of him.

I'm trying to stay flexible. When I think about it, I feel so sad.

It's funny. Any time an "entertainer" dies, especially a great entertainer, I feel the loss, and then I feel selfish. I want more of them, more of their craft. Are they their craft, isn't there more to them than their craft. Someone has lost a child, a spouse, a parent. I have lost entertainment.

I try to mourn the entire person, knowing that I only knew a fraction of who they truly were.

I get here on DU.

I had cancer at the same time as Boseman. (Breast cancer.) I didn't realize it though until after he had died. He kept it to himself - which let me tell you is a horribly lonely and scary place. I felt so confused when I learned of his beautiful, talented life being sniffed out at such a young age by effing CANCER. He had so much going for him. It must have been devastating to get that diagnosis. Knowing there was no cure. My heart aches thinking about how that must have been for him. So incredibly sad.

So, here I am, alive and well and I can pretty much guarantee he gave more to this world than I'll ever give. I've never even found a purpose.

...and my knowledge of some of the comic book history of the character...I think they're going to be attacked by Atlantis and Namor the Sub-mariner (Marvel's version of Aqua-man)

"Comics Explained" is the page, and the guy that runs it gives you info on not just the characters, but the writers/artists, etc.

After watching so many videos of his I've learned that both companies, DC and Marvel, have copied each other too many times to count.

But in the end, it doesn't matter who came first, but if they told good stories.
